Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our cloud cost comparison platform.

How accurate are the cost comparisons?

Our pricing data is updated daily from official cloud provider APIs. However, actual costs may vary based on your specific configuration and usage patterns.

Which cloud providers do you support?

CostAnalyser focuses on AWS, Azure, and GCP. We standardize common services so you can compare like-for-like across providers.

What inputs do I need to get a useful estimate?

Start with region, workload shape (CPU/RAM), storage size/type, and expected monthly data egress. The closer your inputs are to real usage, the more actionable the comparison.

Can I export my cost analysis reports?

Not yet. Exporting reports isn’t available right now.

Do you support multi-cloud architectures?

Absolutely. Our platform allows you to compare and optimize costs across AWS, Azure, and GCP simultaneously, making it perfect for multi-cloud strategies.

How often is pricing data updated?

We update our pricing data daily directly from cloud provider APIs to ensure you always have the most current information.

Is this a billing system or an estimate?

It’s an estimate and comparison tool. Your actual bill can differ due to discounts, committed use, free tiers, taxes, and workload behavior.

How do you handle discounts and reserved pricing?

If you use commitments (Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, committed use discounts), treat CostAnalyser as a baseline and layer your discount assumptions on top for final decision-making.
